Our Story

Our team is made up of 3 members: Deekshita Sankar, Srihaan Bandu, and Aarav Potdar. Ironically, we all realized we shared a passion for aviation and sustainability. We all grew up with family members in the military, and through that connection, we bonded over our shared love of planes and our desire to make a difference. Srihaan has a strong foundation in aerodynamics and business strategy. He handles feasibility studies, financial projections, and market development. Aarav, has hands-on experience with machinery and focuses on the technical design of the hybrid power system. Deekshita, brings extensive knowledge of aviation and insight into the challenges the industry faces. Together, our shared desire to reduce emissions and fuel consumption in aviation drives us to create something impactful with HPAT.

Our mission

Air travel has a significant impact on the environment, contributing approximately 2.5% of all global greenhouse gas emissions. This figure underscores the need for effective strategies to reduce the aviation industry's carbon footprint. One promising solution is the implementation of HPAT.
